Marisol Hotel Boutique

This is a great little hotel on a quiet street. The rooms are very comfortable and wifi and shower work well. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There are several restaurants and stores within walking distance, and a nice quiet beach is only a 5 min walk away. And the hotel does have a foot shower when you return. The only downside to the hotel is that you will need to take an uber to get to the downtown tourist places. But that was a very easy tradeoff for the peacefulness of the hotel. If I ever return to San Jose, I would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a great quaint clean quiet and well placed little hotel, you’ve found it. Marisol and her staff were absolutely wonderful and welcoming. From checking in to checking out, we were impressed. We stayed in a street side room with views of the ocean only a block away. The courtyard and lobby are large and open with a relaxing atmosphere. There is an abundance of shopping and restaurants very close, including a large grocery store. The room was large with all amenities. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was a little tight, but clean with a great shower. We would definitely stay here again and recommend for anyone looking for a small boutique hotel in downtown San Jose.

We stayed here only for a night but would come back anytime. Such a cute hotel, 5 minutes to the beach, great breakfast just around the corner. Super clean and lovely staff.

We stayed 4 nights at Marisol Boutique Hotel. Great location, 2 supermarkets and lots of restaurants nearby. Very quiet and relaxing place with super friendly staff. They provided beach umbrella, cooler, beach bag, coffee maker for us free of charge. There are other items available from the list of amenities. We loved the hotel cat, named "The Boss". We would definitely stay at that lovely place again.

Liked · This hotel was simple but very well located. The playa is nearby, the market nearby, restaurants nearby, it was great for us to explore the area as we intended. We loved how they provided extra amenities like hairdryer, beach towel/bag, and an umbrella for free. Disliked · -They had an incredibly sick person working at the hotel cleaning the rooms. It absolutely disgusted us to hear the hacking day in day out. We specifically did NOT want our rooms cleaned because it sounded horrendous. -The AC unit must be on its' last leg. It was noisy and wouldn't maintain temperature. -It was odd how there were signs about if you took stuff you would be charged. Maybe they have an issue with that, or who knows.

I recently stayed in the Bugambilia Suite at the Marisol Boutique Hotel in San Jose del Cabo. The suite is perfectly fitted with all one needs for a comfortable vacation. The hotel is very safe for a woman travelling on her own and everything one needs - the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and a bus to town are all within walking distance. Guests need a key to access the hotel and there is a spacious private patio and a terrace with a view of the ocean should you wish to spend quiet time at the property. Marisol is very knowledgeable about the special things the area has to offer and her staff are friendly and hard at work keeping the hotel spotless and operating efficiently. One leaves the place feeling refreshed and pampered.

Had the best time loved the Hotel and staff. We had a mini Reunion and it was perfect The owner really goes the extra mile for her guest .The whole experience was such a wonderful event .Thank you again !!!

Incredible service, had issues with a car rental and Marisol spent an hour or two helping me call up local car rental agencies, and personally drove me to the car rental agency. Thank you for your help!
